Sogefi Filtration BV opened its new office in Almere on the 11th of June. The company is part of the Italian Sogefi Group. With 3200 employees and a yearly turnover of over 500 million Euro, Sogefi is one of the most important filter manufacturers worldwide. Sogefi produces for both the original equipment as for the original- and independent aftermarket.

The new premises are the result of growth and expansion. The Dutch company takes care of the sales and logistics of the Sogefi filter brands Fram, Purflux, Coopers, Fiaam en Tecnocar. The sales area of Sogefi Filtration BV contains the Benelux, Central- and East Europe. For the brands Tecnocar and Fiaam the sales area is worldwide.

The turnover of Sogefi Filtration BV is 42 million Euro and there are 32 employees. The new premises have a 4400 m2 warehouse and 600 m2 office space.

‘The growth in turnover and activities lead to an increase in stock’, according to Cees van Duin, General Manager of Sogefi Filtration BV. We have Fram filters on stock in Weesp for years, and now we added the brand Fiaam. In Almere we have found a nice place to put the brand on stock and to develop the commercial activities. An ideal location, since a part of the employees lives in Almere. An additional benefit is the possibility to expand, if necessary in the future.
