As from the 1st of September 2003 Cees van Duin (picture) has been appointed as general manager of Sogefi Filtration b.v. (Weesp), for insiders better known under the brandname Fram. Van Duin succeeds Eberhard Speer. The new director of the filter manufacturer held until recently a salesmanagement function at Denso Europe. The filter manufacturer appointed Jon den Hartog (picture below) as director operations. With these appointments Sogefi Filtration b.v. aims for maintaining its strong position in the automotive aftermarket for filters.

Sogefi Filtration is an Italian holding and focuses its activities at the production and marketing of filters for combustion engines. For Europe only, Sogefi Filtration produces and distributes the filter products of Fram. Globally Sogefi is one of the market leaders in the field of filter production and as manufacturer they can boast on an impressive list of O.E. customers. As a subcontractor Fram has been closely involved in new developments and innovations for filter systems. A striking example for Fram’s wide collection of OE-references is Europe's best sold car: the Peugeot 206. For this French car Sogefi produces as O.E.: the oil filter, fuel filter, air filter and the cabinfilter. The total productrange of Fram covers almost 4.000 different products among other things like air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, cabin airfilters and filters for hydraulic applications.
